Hours: (Full-time) Monday – Friday: 8:00am – 5:00pm
Location: San Ramon, CA
Duration: Contract to Hire
Aerotek Professional Services is actively recruiting individuals for an inside sales position in San Ramon, CA with a firm that handles sales of home and commercial fire and security systems. The salary for this position is $15.50/hr plus unlimited commission opportunity. On average associates in the inside sales position make $50K - $55K+ per year. Upon completion of the contract period benefits will be immediately provided by our client (Medical, Dental, Life and Disability, 401K, and 3 weeks paid time off)
All Inside Sales Associates are, after a comprehensive training including product knowledge, sales skills, and sales strategies, responsible for sales through outbound cold calls. All candidates must have at least 1 year proven success opening and closing new business by performing telesales through cold calls.
Duties:
- Performing outbound cold calls to prospective customers in order to open and close new business (about 100 calls a day)
- Follow up with sales calls issues and overcome objections to close sales
- Utilize effective communication skills when dealing with prospective customers.
- Seek useful information regarding industry and competitors statistics to assist in closing the sale
- Working in a collaborative sales environment
Qualifications:
- At least 1 year proven success performing inside sales through cold calling
- Experience opening and closing new business
- Strong computer skills (Word, Excel, etc.)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Self-motivated to close new business
- Ability to prioritize tasks
- High School diploma
