Inside Sales/Customer Service Manager
RESPONSIBILITIES
· Direct oversight of top 20 accounts: review all outgoing quotes, dispute resolution, serve as the customer advocate in resolution of these issues, contact top 20 accounts on daily/weekly basis.
· Strategize with outside sales managers to develop and execute a plan which increases business from our top 20 accounts.
· Manage two Customer Service Representatives. The CSRs will handle all customers outside the Top 20 and be responsible for developing and sending quotes, handling customer inquiries, responding to RFQs, dispute resolution and ensuring the quotes are signed in a timely fashion.
· Ensure high level of customer service by interacting on a daily basis with the Production Manager, Shipping & Receiving Supervisor, Accounting and Parts.
SKILLS/PERSONALITY TRAITS
· Aviation experience a MUST (preferably in the MRO or parts distribution business). This person will be handling multiple inquiries per day with airlines and must know the lingo. They need to have had some experience with maintenance and/or parts.
· Positive attitude
· Outgoing, aggressive and eager to please (this person cannot have the attitude of not caring what other people think of them)
· Organized – lot of details to manage throughout the day, need to focus on the most important ones
· Willingness to travel maybe 10x per year to visit top 20 accounts
· Understands the challenges of dispute resolution and is able to not become easily frustrated
· Must be extremely detail oriented – they will be checking every quote that we send out (maybe 20 per day)
· Excellent computer skills (Excel, Word, Outlook) – we rely on a couple systems and this person must feel extremely comfortable with using computers
· Excellent communication skills – Can this person write an apology email? Can this person write a “thank you” email.
· Make practical decisions that are in the best interest of the customer
· Will naturally focus on improvement – Will this person streamline our processes? Will they train the CSRs how to perform better at their jobs?
COMPENSATION
· Bonus: distributed quarterly based on gross profit targets (no limit, typically works out to be 20% of base)
· Share in clients employee profit-sharing plan
· Health benefits: Client pays 70% of individual, 50% of family
· Start Date: ASAP
· Relocation not included
